To be honest I didn't take to the original trilogy much until recently. As a child I just didn't seem to relate to it much. I always liked Luke but found Han and Leia kind of annoying 😅. He was so flirty and she was so uppity and I was always like these "these two man..." 😆 lol. Plus some of the story line was just over my head as a kid I guess. I always understood the basics: who was good, who was bad, Luke was the hero and learning to use the force, Darth Vader was his dad, etc. But the political details of the emperor trying to take over the galaxy and why there was a war were just kinda whoosh~ over my head. So while some of it was really fun & interesting, I also found the original trilogy kind of boring for a long time.
But recently, as an adult, I decided to try watching them again, and this time it went a lot better ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹. I really enjoy them now! ^^
I especially appreciate Luke. He is so courageous and overcomes so much. The bond between friends in these movies is also very touching. They care very deeply for each other and you can clearly see it. There's a lot of good humor in these movies too! 😂😂😂 If you haven't seen them yet I highly recommend them. ( I don't wanna give too many details in case you haven't seen them yet ^^)
